English through e-mails

The course is run online and requires regular/daily access to the internet with a good connection.

Communication through e-mail can be a fun and interesting way to help your students practice writing and reading English, while allowing them to make progress at home.

Good writing makes your message clear and easily understood - you make a positive impression on your reader.

But it's not easy. As well as correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, you also need to know the conventional expressions and how to write to different audiences.

The course that last only 5 days will equip you with all necessary skills

1. During the course you will improve  business writing:

layouts and phrases for business letters, emails, reports, CVs and covering letters

2. You will be introduced to formal writing:

use linking expressions to make your point clear,  write clearly & concisely,  choose the correct vocabulary and style

3. You will write more accurately :

you will be introduced to  grammar rules and explanations, clear examples of correct grammar in business English will be given,  you will learn how to use punctuation correctly

The course is run online and requires regular/daily access  to the internet with a good connection Duration of the course 5 days,  2 full  teaching hours each day. Total: 10 full hours/13,5 academic hours:

a) the structure of the lesson:1 hour for role play (exchanghing e-mails according to the given role and situation),  1 hour for correction of mistakes and learning to write it right;

b)the tasks that  will set and references to get the necessary information from  will be sent to you 1 hour prior to the lesson;

c) the tasks and the questions, if you have any, should be submitted not less than an hour before the lesson;

d) the last hour of the last day is for the test  (30 minutes) and for providing the feedback (30 minutes).
