EUROPEAN LAUNCH EVENT FOR THE LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME

The programme will be presented to the general public on 6 and 7 May 2007 in Berlin.

European Commission and BMBF has invited Daiva Malinausienė, director of Soros International House, as a coordinator of Socrates Grundtvig 2 project "Practice Makes Perfect: Promoting European Citizenship Through Language Practice" to attend the ceremony and the special conference to take place within the framework of the European launch event for the Lifelong Learning Programme.

This project has won "European Label for innovative language learning and teaching", "Star Project" and other nominations. This year European Commission will award the prize for lifelong learning to outstanding projects under the ERASMUS, COMENIUS, GRUNDTVIG, LEONARDO DA VINCI and JEAN MONNET programmes where project "Practice Makes Perfect" is also being nominated.
