2009 02 24 Education. Studies. Career 2009
There was an exhibition „Education. Studies.Career 2009" held on 19-21 February at LITEXPO. During the exhibition Soros International House aroused much interest among schoolchildren, parents, students and elderly people. The school leavers were very much concerned about preparation for the school- leaving English exam, therefore SIH could offer them Year 12 preparation course for this exam. The schoolchildren and their parents were curious to learn more about language studies in different countries of the world, summer camps both in Lithuania and abroad. The SIH emploees introduced them to different options by showing photos and telling about different possibilities of SIH. The students were keen to know about English and Scandinavian language courses, as well as ESP . On the last day a lottery was arranged, the participants of which had to perform certain tasks in foreign languages. There were no losers, as all the participants were awarded with the prizes sponsored by SIH.
