1. Bringing learning towards home: integration of people with disability into the local and European community through distant English language learning. The disabled people affairs board in Lithuania has funded the project, which started in 2003 and will continue till the end of August 2004. The aim of the project is to show how learning English and using it can help people with physical disability to get free from social isolation and increase the accessibility of information in the process of globalization and European union extension. 2. Distance learning: possibility to develop for everyone Project aim is to provide equal learning possibilities to everyone with the help of modern IT, also assist the disabled people to overcome social isolation and become valuable members of the society. 3. Esse competition. This is a long term project with Educational department of Vilnius Municipality for young learners in writing essays on civic education, integration in EU and globalization and intercultural learning. Read more... 4. Short films festival „Pravda One Minute" took place on 17 March, 2006 in Vilnius. During the event there were shown 99 best selected films., which were made by professionals and amateurs. SIH was one of the sponsors of the festival and awarded a prize- free foreign language courses Winners: Best thriller „Drebutis" (one of the film makers Marius Jasiulionis is attending the course) Best script „Triumph of a Hare" (one of the authors of the script Meinardas Valkevičius is attending the course)
