Negotiating skills

A one - week course offered at SIH is designed not only for business people to improve their negotiating skills in English, but for adult learners interested to improve their speaking skills in everyday life or at work.

There are many reasons why you may want to negotiate . Negotiation, in a business context, can be used for selling, purchasing, staff (e.g. contracts), borrowing (e.g. loans) and transactions, along with anything else that you feel are applicable for your business. But negotiation is  not only used for business . It is something that we do all the time. For example, we use it in our social lives perhaps for deciding a time to meet, or where to go on a rainy day.

Our focus of the course is to equip the learners with necessary toolls that would enable them to feel safe in negotiating. As negotiation is treated, first of all as a game, the course focuses on the rules how to „play the game". And like any game there are rules and conventions. We help people explore their own rules and beliefs about negotiation and how they  get in the way of success. The course brings fun and it is effective with plenty of opportunities to practise.

4 lessons a week. Each lesson lasts for 3 full hours.

Total: 16 academic hours (12 full hours)

Price: 195 Lt
